The mission of First Baptist Rockport remains relevant during the global pandemic and provides our focus.
The mission of FBC Rockport is to lead all people to be shaped by the love of Christ.
We will know we are leading all people to be shaped by the love of Jesus Christ when we are making disciples who:
- WORSHIP the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength
- CONNECT with other believers
- GROW in Christlikeness
- SERVE God and others
- REACH out to a lost world with the love of Christ
These are difficult and challenging times, but we are convinced that God is present in power revealing Jesus Christ and accomplishing His eternal kingdom purposes. We encourage every church member to seek the Lord concerning the balance between health/safety, and the need to stay connected with God’s people and purposes. First Baptist Rockport remains open during the pandemic, but we are cooperating with federal, state, and local officials by following Texas Minimum Health Protocols. We are focused on accomplishing the mission of our church during this unprecedented time. We also recognize that things change quickly and that our plans must be flexible and adaptable.
