Our church has a scholarship program for High School Graduates and continuing college students; The Charles Barnett Scholarship of First Baptist Church of Rockport, Texas. The Charles Barnett Scholarship fund was established in 2001. Since that time we have been able to award scholarship funds to over 80 individuals.

If your son or daughter is planning to attend college and maintain a schedule of classes equaling to 12 hours per semester and has been a member of First Baptist Church for one year prior to April 1st, then they are eligible to apply for a scholarship. 2025 Applications are due April 1st. The application is attached below.
