GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
GriefShare meets in the church library.

JAM Club = Jesus And Me
Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
JAM Club (Jesus And Me) is our Wednesday evening activity for children in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. It combines bible study and fun activities to help children grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ. They will experience Christian Community with other children and learn the importance of their witness to others. Our goal is to equip your child to serve mightily in God’s Kingdom and to foster a deep relationship with Him.
When you arrive, we will share a meal in Fellowship Hall. We will spend time learning bible stories, hearing about mission areas in our country and in other countries, do fun activities & JAM to some fun music!

In 2026, we will begin a new churchwide emphasis built on a simple conviction: God’s Word is meant to live far beyond the walls of the church—shaping every heart, strengthening every home, and guiding every generation.
We live in a world where almost everything feels temporary. Cultures shift. Circumstances change. Even our own hearts can feel uncertain or unstable. Many people today feel unanchored—pulled in a dozen directions and overwhelmed by forces outside their control. Yet into all this noise, one voice still speaks with clarity, authority, and life: the Word of God.
Throughout 2026, many of our sermons and studies will invite you to rediscover the beauty, reliability, and transforming power of Scripture. We will walk together through the story of how God inspired His Word, how He has preserved it across centuries, and how that same Word continues to breathe truth, hope, and direction into our daily lives.
Each message will help us grow in confidence that the Bible is trustworthy, that it reveals the very heart of God, and that it provides everything we need for living, leading, and loving well.
Whether you’ve followed Christ for decades or are just beginning to explore faith, our prayer is that you will learn to hear God’s voice more clearly—and that His Word will take deeper root in your life.
Because when God’s Word fills a heart, it reshapes a home. When it reshapes a home, it influences a generation. And when it influences a generation, it can transform a community and impact the world.
Our prayer is simple and bold: that in 2026, God’s Word would move beyond the church building and into every heart, every home, and every generation, shaping us with the love of Jesus Christ.
FBC Rockport recognizes the importance of teaching our littlest ones about the love of Jesus Christ! We have Wednesday night program just for preschool kids! Lil’ Jammers is our Wednesday evening activity time for preschool aged children. It combines bible study, music, and fun activities to help the children grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.
They will experience Christian Community with other children and learn the importance of their witness to others. Our goal is to equip your child to serve mightily in God’s Kingdom and to foster a deep relationship with Him.
During this time we will share a Bible lesson, JAM to fun music & create awesome artwork!

This year Elevate starts on Wednesday, August 19th.
At Elevate, preteens in 4th and 5th grades find a welcoming community where they can explore their faith, ask big questions, and discover their purpose in God’s story. We’re passionate about helping this generation believe in Jesus and become the amazing individuals God created them to be. Come elevate your journey with us!

This year’s Rockport-Fulton ISD Employee luncheon will be held on Tuesday, August 4, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. We need volunteers for setup, hosting, serving, and clean-up.
If you are able to serve please in the church foyer.
Every year First Baptist Rockport hosts a special luncheon for all RFISD employees as a way of saying thank you for their service to our community. Please keep our community teachers and leaders in your daily prayers.
