Checkpoint is a special class for 6th graders only. As kids get ready to become teenagers, they will be entering a time in life where they will be faced with more opportunities and more choices than ever before. How they respond to those choices will shape the rest of their lives. At First Baptist, we want to help 6th grade students to get ready for their teenage years by preparing them to make godly decisions. Checkpoint combines an age-appropriate Bible study with fine arts to help students grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.
They will experience Christian Community with other children and learn the importance of their witness to others. Fine Arts activities include instrumental and vocal music, art, and drama. Our goal is to equip your child with the armor of God to serve mightily in His kingdom and to foster a deep relationship with Him.
Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
When you arrive, we will share a meal in the Fellowship Hall.
