Samaritan’s Purse

Samaritan’s Purse U.S. Disaster Relief responds quickly when natural disasters strike, deploying an army of volunteers to come alongside homeowners to bring relief and compassion in Jesus’ Name.  After Hurricane Harvey impacted our community, they came and stepped up to help us recover and rebuild.  They built a building on our campus to house the volunteers and work that they wanted to do.  Samaritan’s Purse faithfully serves amidst disasters here in the United States, but they have many ministries all over the world.

Our church has partnered with Samaritan’s Purse sending volunteer teams to go to disaster sites not only in Texas but nationwide.  The focus will be to develop a group of volunteer teams available to go when the need arises.  Samaritan’s Purse guidelines will determine scheduling and procedures.

Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Response

We often stay behind after our initial response to rebuild or restore houses for needy families.

Texans On Mission Disaster Response

Texans on Mission (formerly Texas Baptist Men) has responded to every natural disaster in Texas since 1967 and many beyond it, including the Southeast Asia tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
